How to Survive Cocardo: Hiding, Noise & Cameras
Break line of sight before hiding, rotate cover when your hide warning requires it, and prepare an exit before interacting with noisy equipment. One cabinet is not a two-minute safe room.

Two minutes of pursuit does not mean two minutes in one locker
Both reviewed creators survive a two-minute search after discovering Lime. Chuy Mine explicitly reports a 15-second limit inside a cabinet before Cocardo is alerted. These are different timers: the pursuit lasts two minutes; a particular hiding interaction has its own limit.
Read the current hide prompt or warning, leave only when you have a clear route, and choose another hiding point before the local limit expires. If the live game changes this rule, its on-screen timer takes precedence.

If Cocardo sees you
- Move away from the doorway and use a corner to break his view.
- Aim for a hiding object with an actual interaction prompt. Standing behind scenery is not the same as entering a marked hide.
- If he hits you as you enter, create distance and try a different hiding point.
- Watch health, the objective timer and the next safe route. Wait for the survival result before advancing.
Plan before making noise
The recordings repeatedly warn that noise lets Cocardo locate the player. In New Flavors, running and machinery expose the route. That makes preparation useful: identify cover, complete the task, then check whether a patrol is approaching.
Closing doors and using nearby cover are demonstrated tactics, but the sources do not establish permanent invulnerability behind a closed door. A hiding cabinet also has a reported limit.

Camera restoration and camera shutdown are different tasks
In Chapter 2 you restore feeds to obtain evidence. Later, Grape’s rescue requires disabling security, which attracts Cocardo’s attention. In Chapter 4, Cherry watches cameras with red lights; the creator disables the Security Camera box in the basement electrical room.
Use the chapter objective before changing a camera system. Restoring one feed does not mean every camera is safe, and turning cameras off does not finish a rescue by itself.
Protect the evidence upload
- Find the router or sending device named by the objective.
- Choose nearby cover before pressing Send.
- Remain within the demonstrated upload area while the percentage rises.
- Check completion and Banana’s response before leaving.
- During the final tunnel route, keep the delayed gate and a hiding/escape route in reach.
These tactics come from recorded community gameplay. Enemy speeds, detection ranges and guaranteed safe coordinates were not measured.
Sources & scope
Gameplay steps are attributed to the recorded creator narration, including automatic English captions. We have not independently played the game. Current objective text takes priority after updates.
